Aimed at pre-school viewers (ages three to five), the goal of the CURIOUS GEORGE series is to inspire children to explore science, engineering, and math in the world around them.

Each episode features two animated stories followed by short live-action segments in which real kids investigate the ideas that George introduces in the animations. Below you can find an animation clip and three examples of live-action segments, each featuring one of the core content themes of the series. (Want to see more? Math Objective: To introduce the importance of zero.

It's 100's Day, and each kid brings in 100 of something. What does 100 sound like? What does 100 feel like?


How Gears Work

How Gears Work (from Curious George On Time)
Engineering Objective: To explore gears and how they function.

At a science museum, kids learn about how the size of a gear determines how the gear functions to increase or decrease power.
