CURIOUS GEORGE DISCOVERY GUIDE

Exploring Engineering, Math, and Science with Young Children

The Curious George Discovery Guide will help you use the CURIOUS GEORGE TV series as a springboard for bringing early engineering, math, and science learning into your classroom. This easy-to-use resource is designed for kindergarten teachers and other early childhood educators, and offers three hands-on thematic classroom investigations: Under Construction (engineering), Grouping & Graphing (math) and Blow, Wind, Blow! (science). We encourage you to explore the Discovery Guide and to use it as a resource as you plan your engineering, math, and science curricula.

You may also want to download the Curious George Family Activity Booklet, available in both English and Spanish. This booklet invites parents to support their children's early learning in engineering, science, and math by using some simple, playful activities.

You'll need a PDF reader to access these PDF files.

And while you're here on the CURIOUS GEORGE Web site, be sure to explore the many educational online games for kids. Every Web feature is built to support early science, engineering, and math, and can be used to further enhance your lesson plans.
