Puzzle game
Jigsaw puzzles have almost always been a favorite game for children and grownups alike. Four different puzzles are offered featuring Caillou along with family and friends. Educational Benefit: Helps children match shapes and colors.

Spelling with Caillou
This spelling game can be played by young children even if they do not know yet how to read. Using the familiar sounding names of the Caillou series characters, the child will try to match the letters found on play blocks with the letters appearing at the top of the frame. The children choose the word to spell by clicking on the word itself or on the picture representing the character in question.
Educational Benefit: Helps the children familiarize themselves with the different shapes of the letters of the alphabet.

Educational Benefit: This activity will require the participation of a parent or educator. It assists the child in the development of team work by splitting the different tasks to perform: the child can do all the coloring while the parent or educator does the cutting, for example.

Dress Caillou
Dress Caillou is designed to help children understand how to pick appropriate outfits based on the weather outside. Children first look outside Caillou's window to see what the weather is like. Then, they must select a suitable outfit by using their mouse so that Caillou can go outside and play.
Educational Benefit: This game will help children improve their ability to use a computer mouse, identify links on Web sites, as well as associate the different types of weather with different articles of clothing.

Paper dolls
Caillou's Paper Dolls is an activity that lets children color three different Caillou outfits, using crayons or markers. With help from a grown-up, children can then cut out the outfits and dress the Caillou paper doll. Another activity children can play is to dress Caillou appropriately for the weather they see outside their own window. Or, a grown-up could name a season and the child would have to select the appropriate Caillou outfit.
Educational Benefit: Children will learn how to dress appropriately for different types of weather. They will also be practicing hand control and how to use scissors safely.

Children can also click on Caillou, Gilbert, Teddy or Rexy to see how their names are spelled and to hear how they sound.
Educational Benefit: The majority of Internet navigation is done with a mouse. It is important that children also have exposure to keyboard use, Magic Keyboard does just that.

Picture storybook
The Picture Storybook is a book that children can color with crayons or markers. At the bottom of each page is a section where children can either write or draw their own story. With the help of a grown-up the pages are cut out along the lines and holes are punched into the marked areas. Children are encouraged to be creative when placing the pictures in order. However, there are a few pictures that could be placed in sequence, if the child chooses to do so. Once picture order is established, children can use string or ribbon to lace through the holes to tie the book together.
Educational Benefit: This activity will help children improve their coloring, cutting and writing skills as well as encouraging children to be creative while inventing their own story.
