Bake or purchase a plain loaf cake. Mix several drops of red food coloring into vanilla frosting. Cover the entire cake with the frosting. Use square cookies to represent windows on the front and sides of the cake. Add four chocolate sandwich cookies on the bottom corners to represent wheels. Add pretzel sticks for a ladder, strips of licorice for fire hoses, and a red gumdrop on the top for the siren or flashing light.
