Fascinating Rhythms
Repeating rhythms lays a foundation for both math and language skills. In the Boohbah Warm Up and Dance segments, music is often added one element at a time, making it easy to distinguish the various complementary patterns that make up a song. This provides a useful example for playing with rhythms.

Directions
Tap or clap out a rhythm and let your child copy it. Then reverse rolls and you copy what she claps.
Once she has mastered that skill, try tapping out a rhythm and let your child do it twice as fast or half as slow.
If you are in a group, assign each child a different but complementary rhythm and add in one rhythm at a time, like a sound track.
