Directions
Ask your child, “If you were sending the Boohball off to children in another place, and you could put something besides the Boohbahs in it, what would you put in and why?” Remind your child that he can send things like feelings or wishes as well as material objects.
You can make this activity into a memory game by handing a Boohball (real or pretend) back and forth (or with a group, around the circle), and have the child list what has been previously put in and then add an item of her own.
Talk About It
Talk about your child’s answer(s) and encourage her to think about what children in other places might want or need. How might the things that your child wants and needs be similar to and different from children in other places?
