Directions
Play Follow the Leader. In the traditional version of this game, everyone follows in line behind a leader and does whatever the leader does. Be sure to take turns so that everyone gets to be both a follower and a leader.
You may also want to play an alternative version that more closely resembles the way the Boohbahs dance. In this version, everyone moves in an informal way. Then a leader starts a movement for the others to copy until all are dancing together. The leader is at liberty to change the direction of the movement or develop it as they choose. When the leader is satisfied that the time is right, they increase the speed of the movement until it becomes silly and returns to unstructured action. If you are doing this with a group, it can be helpful to designate a specific location in the room as the “leaders spot”, so everyone is clear who is acting as the leader.
