Directions
Fold your paper in half. On each side of the fold, draw pictures of flowers (or finger paint or stamp or whatever art form your child enjoys). Try copying some real flowers and making up your own varieties. Use the fold to stand the paper up in the middle of your table as a centerpiece.
Talk About It
While viewing the Pencil Sharpener episode, you might start a conversation by asking your child: "What would you draw on the pad?"
As you talk about the things on screen, you can help expand your child's vocabulary by alternating the words you use with their synonyms. In the Pencil Sharpener episode you might describe the part of the pencil that breaks as the point or the tip.
