Beep Beep
Episode # 134. Horn
In a cylinder-shaped box, the children give the Storypeople a horn. Grandpappa finds the horn. When Mr. Man comes along, Grandpappa hides behind a tree and honks the horn. Mr. Man tries to figure out where the sound is coming from. When he does, he takes a turn and they use the horn to make each other jump. But one horn isn't enough for both of them, so the children give them a very, very large horn. What kind of sound will it make?

Directions
Together with your child, pretend to be things that have horns (e.g., a car, a bicycle, a clown, etc.). Make up a story involving the thing that you are pretending to be. If your child needs help inventing a story, ask her open-ended questions such as "Where are you? Is someone riding you? Who? Where are they going? What are you honking at?"
Talk About It
While viewing the Musical Pipe episode, you might start a conversation by asking your child: "What will the big horn sound like?"
As you talk about the things on screen, you can help expand your child's vocabulary by alternating the words you use with their synonyms. In the Horn episode you might describe the large horn as big, huge or enormous.
