Water Play
Episode # 133. Leaky Hose
In a flat, circle-shaped box the children give the Storypeople a very large red hose and faucet. Grandpappa wants to water the sunflowers but he is stepping on the hose and no water will come out - at least not out the end. Instead the hose begins to spring leaks. The children give Grandpappa some tape so he can fix the leak and the flowers eventually get their drink.

Directions
Next time your child takes a bath, provide them with lots of different kinds of containers to experiment with. Make sure that some are hard-sided (e.g., empty yogurt cups) and some are soft-sided (e.g., a plastic sandwich bag). Which containers hold the most water? Which are the easiest to pour from? Which float? Make holes in some of the containers and let your child experiment with ways to fix the holes.
