Jumping Sounds
Episode # 108. Squeaky Socks
In a very large, thin square box, the children give the Storypeople some very unusual, very large socks. Brother and Sister climb into the socks and discover that whenever they jump, the socks squeak. The Boohbahs do a lot of jumping, too.

Directions
When Brother and Sister jump in the socks, the socks squeak each time they land. Spend some time being silly with your child. Take turns jumping up and down, making a funny sound each time your feet touch the floor. See how high you both can jump.
Talk About It
While viewing the Squeaky Socks episode, you might start a conversation by asking your child: Have you ever seen such big socks? What would you do if you found a pair of socks like that? What other things do you know that come in pairs? If you could design your own socks, what would they look like? What color would they be? Would they have a pattern on them?
As you talk about the things on screen, you can help expand your child's vocabulary by alternating the words you use with their synonyms. In the Squeaky Socks episode, you could describe the children's gift to the Storypeople as socks or stockings.
