Here's What You Do

1. Print out the Backyard Jungle Journal to help you record your discoveries. If you do not have a printer, you can copy the questions from the Backyard Jungle Journal into a piece of paper.
2. Watch the story of Angelina, her grandmother, and Pongo, as they explore a forest near them. Go to the PBS eekoworld web site and click on the box that says "Forest".
3. Think about your favorite part of a forest and write it down in your Backyard Jungle Journal.
4. Invite an adult in your family to take a hike through a forest near you just like Angelina, Pongo, and Angelina's Grandmother did in the animation. If you can't visit a forest, use your imagination and think about all the animals that live in a forest.
5. Describe your forest's ecosystem, and share all your discoveries with your Backyard Jungle friends.
