Play Ball!
Play games with beanbags and balls

Materials
  • beanbag
  • cup
  • poster board or cardboard (large piece)
  • small ball
  • table
Directions
Most children like to play with beanbags and balls. Here are two fun and simple cooperative games that you and your children (or you and a child) can play together.
  1. Beanbag Toss: Players toss a beanbag from one to the next while singing a favorite song. Have players try the same thing sitting, kneeling, and lying on their backs.
  1. Ball Slope: For this partner game, lay a piece of poster board or cardboard on a table. Show players how to lift one end so the board becomes a gentle slope ending at the edge of the table. One player raises the board and rolls a small ball down the slope. The second player catches the ball in a cup as it rolls off the edge. Players take turns rolling and catching the ball.
