Here's Josephine Adolfo going to school. Another long day of learning begins!

Welcome to the West African Secondary School in Accra Ghana. Accra is the capital city of Ghana, which is on the west coast of Africa. Ghana has one of the best school systems in Africa. It is similar to schools in the U.S. Everyone has to go to school until at least the 9th grade. One of the famous people who went to school in Ghana is the man who is in charge of the United Nations, Kofi Anann.

Accra is near the coast of Ghana, which is on the west side of Africa. Some of the area north of Accra has Africa's tropical rainforest. Accra, however, is pretty dry.
